Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza
The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum is part of the notorious "Triangle of Art" in Madrid, so it represents one of the key points for any fan. It is an art gallery with over a thousand works, many of which come from the huge private collection of the Thyssen-Bornemisza family. In 1993 the Spanish Government decided to buy it so that all citizens could have it on public display. The oldest pieces date from the twelfth century Gothic art to modern twentieth century. We can find the Renaissance, Mannerism, Baroque, Rococo, Romanticism and the art of the nineteenth as well as twentieth centuries Pop Art.
